Who we are

This site is operated by 4Max Solutions Limited, trading as IACWorks, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15803291), registered office at 124 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. For the purposes of UK GDPR and EU GDPR, 4Max Solutions Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

What we collect

The only personal data this site collects is what you submit through the contact form: your name, email address, company name (optional), and the message you write. We don't use analytics, advertising trackers, or any cookies of our own.

How the contact form works

Submitting the form doesn't send your message to us directly. We first email a 6-digit verification code to the address you provide, and store your submission temporarily (for up to 10 minutes) while we wait for you to enter it. Once you verify the code, your message is emailed to our support inbox, and the temporary copy is deleted immediately. Whether or not it's verified, it's automatically erased within 10 minutes.

Why we process it, and our legal basis

We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry. Our legal basis is legitimate interest: responding to a message you chose to send us. We don't use it for marketing unless you separately ask us to, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of third-party services to run this site, each acting as a data processor on our behalf:

• Resend (resend.com): delivers the verification code and forwards verified messages to our inbox by email. Resend is based in the United States.
• Cloudflare (cloudflare.com): hosts this site and provides security/DDoS protection. Cloudflare operates a global network and may process requests (including your IP address) outside the UK/EEA as part of that protection.

Both providers publish their own privacy policies and offer standard Data Processing Agreements. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA (for example, to Resend's or Cloudflare's US infrastructure), that transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, and/or the EU-US and UK-US Data Privacy Framework where the receiving party participates in it. Neither provider is authorized to use your data for anything other than providing their service to us.

How long we keep it

The temporary copy used for verification is deleted automatically within 10 minutes, whether or not you complete the process. The verified message itself is kept in our support inbox for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, after which it's deleted in the ordinary course of mailbox housekeeping.

Data security

All traffic to this site is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and the verification code data held temporarily in Cloudflare's storage is encrypted at rest. Access to the systems and secrets behind this site is restricted to what's needed to run it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. That said, we don't hold more data, or hold it for longer, than the contact form actually requires.

In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority and any affected individuals as required by UK GDPR and EU GDPR.

Cookies

We don't set cookies of our own, and we don't run analytics or advertising trackers on this site. Cloudflare, as our hosting provider, may set a small number of strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from abuse; these aren't used to track you and don't require consent under ePrivacy rules.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data
• Object to or restrict how we use your data
• Ask for your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. If you're not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or to your local data protection authority if you're based elsewhere in the EU/EEA.

This policy links to third-party sites (for example, Cloudflare or the ICO). We're not responsible for the privacy practices or content of sites we don't operate. Check their own policies before sharing data with them.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and IT professionals. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally as the site or our data practices change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
